Kumo

Dogs instinctively seek surfaces that support their body naturally. Kumo is a low, Japanese-style bed: an elevated wooden base keeps the mattress off the floor, and the minimalist frame blends into modern interiors.

Orthopedic comfort, essential design, made in Italy.

Memory foam that looks after your dog’s joints. The top layer is high-density memory foam (40 kg/m³) over a firm support base, 10 to 13 cm thick depending on size. It moulds to the body, spreads the weight evenly and takes pressure off hips, elbows and spine.

That is why it is ideal for senior dogs, growing puppies and dogs with hip dysplasia or joint problems: they lie down, stretch out and get up with less effort.

A fabric tested to be safe on the skin. The cover is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified: the fabric is tested for harmful substances, so nothing harmful reaches your dog’s skin, even after hours of resting on it.

And it lasts: tested for over 105,000 abrasion cycles, with a tight weave that resists scratches and pilling.

Tested materials, from the cover to the core.

On the skin: the fabric is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified and tested for harmful substances. A great choice for dogs with sensitive skin or prone to dermatitis.

In the air your dog breathes: the foam core is CertiPUR® certified, made without heavy metals or phthalates and tested for very low emissions. Your dog sleeps with his nose on the bed, and the air stays clean.

The cover is removable and machine washable (cold wash recommended), then air dry. The tight weave stops hair getting trapped, so it brushes away easily. Spare covers are available separately.
